Private house 2002 – unbuilt
Project for a single-family house outside Stockholm, Sweden by the lake Mälaren. The proposed house of 400 square meters is positioned on an extremely sloping site that faces the lake. The background of the proposal was the clients wish to have a house for both business and private family life independent on each other. Consequently the exterior of the house appears as separate volumes; however the main body of the house is connected horizontally through a corridor system below ground. This corridor also leads to the main building where collective areas such as the kitchen, living room, library and office.
