Skandiform will unveil the prototype of Jonas Lindvall's new Curl easy chair and side table. Curl marks the beginning of a new family of furniture. Curl shares the DNA of the successful Oak and Papa families, also produced by Skandiform. It was created in response to a brief to design an easy chair that would feel generous and unrestricted, while compact enough to sit in small spaces, "The objective was to push the qualities of its predecessors (Oak and Papa) by creating an upholstered chair that offers greater comfort, without taking up too much space. As the name suggests, Curl's form invites you to sit down, curl up and get cosy." explains the designer.

Curl has a steel reinforced moulded seat and back. The backrest wraps around to meet the armrests, which are integrated into the seat. The chair is currently available in a choice of three types of base: wooden legs, a steel sledge base and a revolving base. Curl is accompanied by an upholstered footstool and a side table topped in ash, oak or stone, with a wooden base.

Tureen is a family of three side tables made from solid wood and stone produced by Stolab. Measuring38cm, 51.5cm and 65cm in diameter and with a choice of 43.5cm, 50.5cm and 53cm height, each table has a different surface. The largest table features a solid oak top, with two smaller tables topped with Carrara marble and green marble. Each table is also available in solid wood only. The tables can be used as a group, or individually. "Taking inspiration from furniture history and the world of gastronomy, the starting point of Tureen was to create a design based on beauty, function and cohesion between the triumvirate" explains the designer.
